In the departement of the VAR there is a bus transportation system,modern and efficiente.This system serves all the most important towns as Toulon, Frejus / Saint Raphael, the Gulf of SaintTropez, and is interchangeable with other existing transport systems such as railway stations of Saint Raphael, Toulon,Cannes, Nice, Nice airport Cote D’Azur and Toulon Hyeres, and the ports of Toulon and Nice.

The unit price of the ticket is 2 € and you can use as many lines.There are mini subscriptions and special cards, and can be purchased directly on board or in a central bus station in Toulon, Saint Raphael (next to the railway station) and Saint Tropez (Avenue Charles de Gaulle).

The line 7601 Saint Raphael / St. Tropez is the most ‘importantf or tourism,run along the coastal path and connects the two cities’, passing from Frejus, Saint Aygulg, Les Issambres, Saint Maxime,Port Grimaud / Grimaud, Port Cogolin / Cogolin before reaching Saint Tropez.

Marineland, the  ’largest water park in Europe was born in 1970 at Antibes on the Côte d’Azur.

Today, more ‘than a million visitors pass through Antibes each year, visiting the huge reservoirs for killer whales, and those for sharks and other species housed.

Grandstand capable of holding up to 4 000 spectators as well as advanced facilities and equipment designed for animals and visitors wellness, making it one of the  most ‘popular parks in the world.

Marineland is also the only French park that is home to killer whales and you can visit the museum of the sea.

Several shows are held in the park as well as that of killer whales, sea elephants,  Seals, sea lions, dolphins, polar bears and more.

In recent years  other attractions were born including the Small Farm contiguous with the animal park, a children playground and a miniature golf course .

In the natural and charming French Provence , the tortoises of Hermann species particulary, are treated and studied in the picturesque village of Gonfaron.

Here you can observe tortoises nesting, eggs, young animals of 1/2/3 years old, nursing.

In this village more than 2500 tortoises are housed and often when they are healthy they are released into nature.
