La Bravade de Saint-Tropez

From 16 to 18 May 2015, Saint Tropez

Traditional and deep moment of silence for the Tropéziens, disturbed only by the explosions from loose cannon memorial, the patron saint and the glorious military past of the city are celebrated with ceremonies and processions. Three days of devotion that occur each year with a ritual unchanged for over 450 years.

The city during the three days offers several opportunities to spend time with their family or friends. The restaurant on the harbor, the sun terraces to eat or have a drink, the beautiful beach and sustained program will not leave you disappointed.

The program of the event:

May 16
8am – Town Hall Square: Plenty of artillery – serenades authorities and leaders of the Bravade
11h – Marine cemetery: Wreath laying at the War Memorial
14:30 – Town Hall Square: Meeting Corps Bravade
15h – Town Hall Square: Taking Pique and Flag – Weapons Blessing
from 15h30 to 20h – in town: Petite Bravade

• May 17
8am – Town Hall Square: Meeting Corps Bravade
11h – Parish Church: Mass Musketeers followed by the general procession through the city
15:30 – Town Hall Square: Meeting of the Corps of bravado
to 16h – by city: Large Bravade midnight – up City Hall: Presentation of Spades and Flag

• May 18
8am – Town Hall Square: Meeting Corps Bravade
11 am – Chapel of St. Anne: Thanksgiving Mass followed by the traditional picnic
